Sanderson Contemporary Art is pleased to introduce our annual Christmas Exhibition for 2008 - Advent. Featuring 24 artists.
‘Advent’ will be showing until January 25th 2009. Please note we will be open sporadically between Dec 26th and Jan 11th. The gallery will resume its normal opening hours on Monday, January 12th. For enquiries or appointments during this time please phone the gallery on 09 374 4476.
ADVENT
Referencing the tradition of the Christmas Advent calendar, Sanderson Contemporary Art’s latest exhibition draws from the sometimes-surprising developments within our artist stable to give a foretaste of the exhibitions approaching in 2009.
Each artist has a space devoted to their work with freedom within that space to create a suite of pieces to indicate their future direction. The show therefore incorporates works from superb small original paintings and sculpture, through to large statement pieces, in a range of media.
