A sketchy quality of line and an interesting use of registration in the horsemen as well as the inclusion of a zeppelin in the background make this an unusual piece of art from Ted Dutch. The very large scale of the work (for a screenprint) gives this piece extra impact and presence. Bemused by the introduction of technology in his own profession as well as in the world at large, Dutch has created a scene where the medieval theme of knights on horseback is played out against an ambiguous but futuristic landscape.
